New England is built on the soil of rich history and a vast landscape. I was born and raised in Connecticut and continue to live here today with my two boys and our cat, Howard. You can hop in the car and drive an hour in any direction and find the ocean, mountains, or a barn in a field of wildflowers.  It is truly a beautiful and unique environment! Each of its towns has its own story to tell as well! Many of the towns along the Naugatuck River started off as bustling mill towns and produced some of the world’s finest goods.  If you look closely still today, you can find details of the old mill town hiding in plain sight. I have always found myself getting lost in those details and the history of the old buildings of my New England mill town home.

I am the owner and photographer at Mill Town Photo Company! You may think you recognize me and you would be right! I graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2011 and I opened up my first business, Karin Goodwin Photography. I have worked with some amazing families over the years and I am so grateful for that time! In 2019 I closed my business to support the needs of my family. When It was time for me to get back into it, I was really called to changing our name!
